Formatio is a charity which works to form, nourish and sustain leaders and governors of Catholic schools.
We believe high-quality professional development and faith formation opportunities are essential to improve Catholic school leadership and governance. Since 2018, we have sought joined-up and innovative solutions to the challenges faced by Catholic dioceses, academy trusts, schools and higher education institutions.
Regional Hubs
We've created four regional hubs to support Catholic education locally, each supported by a Formatio hub officer.
School leaders
We’ve designed a national programme for the formation of executive headteachers, which runs every year.
Governors
We’ve developed a portfolio of online training for the induction and development of governors in Catholic schools.
